About the Conference: 

The initial Forum will address the Standards, Competencies and Best Practices for Infant and Family Centered Developmental Care focus on the Best Practices for FEEDING, EATING and NUTRITION developed by the Gravens interprofessional consensus panel.

The Forum allows discourse on current research and implantation of the Standards into intensive care practice.  Scholars, administrators and clinicians are invited to attend in order to develop a series of recommendations for implementation of these competencies and best practices. An emphasis on evidence, system change and adaptation to a new way of practicing will be the focus of work groups.  Dissemination of implementation recommendations to follow.
